Lecture and Film Program : Script Writing

 With a limit of two hours, our collaborative group was tasked with creating a narrative that encapsulated the image above. The group was advised to follow a three act structure and a template was used to document our linear narrative. 

Our team struggled to form a simple structure, which lead to struggles throughout the session as we began loading an unfinished foundation with unnecessary detail. Our team quickly became confused and lost, we ultimately ran out of time without a solid story. Jess, our group member, was kind enough to polish-up the ideas we were able to create. 

This unsuccessful attempt at script writing has opened my eyes to the importance of structure, which should always come before the ornamentation of ideas.
