Warm-up exercises. I find it challenging to capture any kind of detail within 5 minutes, basic outlines.
Trying to be bolder with my shading. Compressed graphite covers a large surface area quickly.
The heater was obstructing by vision for this position, so I tried to incorporate it into the composition.
Playing around with the vibrant colours cast from the heater. Contrasting blues for normal shadows.
making the effort to fill-up as much if the page as possible. Sill, little detail captured.
