| Warm-up exercise, I can see an improvement in my use of line work. Becoming braver with exaggerations for suggestion. |

| The scale of the head compared to the body is gradually levelling-out. A proportional issue I had previously had issues overcoming. |

| Switching to traditional pencil allows me to create shadows, giving my line work some mass. |

| I find side angles more complex to capture. I find that I work on a smaller scale when I struggle. |

| I was surprisingly happy with this exercise, which involved no line work, only shading. I was confidently able to capture muscle forms. |

| Mixing things up with the use of colour, a contrasting combination in this exercise. The green lines indicate the 'flow' of the position, the direction of the body. |

| This final exercise asked me to start with these arrows, and drawing over them. I was able to spend more time shading, and I ultimately worked on a larger area. |
