Metal Texture Mood Board:
I found the idea of texture creation a bewildering prospect. Creating a mood board of ideas was reassuring and also inspiring, as I hadn't considered using such unique metalwork in my Armilla concept. I believe that more unique metal designs will bring my composition to life. I hope to use this mood board as reference when I digitally draw my own textures for my modelled buildings. I decided on dramatic texture references as these would be interesting to adapt into drawings. By exaggerating the textures of the metal surfaces, I hope to stylise my model, avoiding too much realism
