Exterior Esablishing shot

Lighting Experiment:

Exploring different times of day would help give Armilla solidity, as viewers can see how different types of light interact with the cities forms and structures. For this exterior establishing shot, I like the idea of using dusk. light reflections would illuminate the sea background, light from buildings would assist the moonlight in revealing the foreground and midground. 

Perspective Test:

I can immediately see issues with perspective once applying this grid. The foreground could be more dramatic with its angles, which would ultimately create more distance and size. In the final drawing process I need to consider how the vague midground city is going to interact with perspective once more detail is included.
