Australian Mushroom Species Research

A more refined research task, my goal was to look into interesting and ideal mushroom species that could be used as the focus for my life cycle animation. During my introductory research, I noticed how diverse and beautiful the species of mushrooms appeared in Australia. I have therefore decided to use this as my animation's location. I'd like to make this obvious by using subtle Australian landscape features, and factually correct mushroom species. I think this level of detail is important, as my 'life cycle' animation is supposed to be educational. 

Another reason why I chose to look into Australian species is due to their fluorescent colours and tropical formations. I believe that interesting and unusual species will attract the attention of my target audience (12-17) more than common and mundane species.
