Research into Style & Genre

An exploration into the 'Graffiti' style and the conventions of 'Graphic Novels'. Combined, I think it creates an interesting aesthetic that I could apply to my 'Fantastic Voyage' project. I believe that this choice of style was influenced by my research into illustrated film posters (during my 'script to screen project) and my research into the Graffiti art movement (research dedicated to my contexts essay).

At this stage in the Fantastic Voyage project, I am leaning towards an animation based on the life cycle of fungi. The style I have researched into would be a nice contrast to narrative; nature verses urbanisation and the artificial.
