Rigging & Skinning 101 - Spine and Chest
A spine is formed, positions are
displaced off the grid, each slightly different translate x. This gives us a
base for the main ‘spine’, the chest and the neck.
Parenting is needed between the spine
connections, as they’re overwriting themselves.
A COG control is then created, this is a link between the spine and leg
components.
The dummy joints are shrunk and hidden in
the spine, as these are no longer needed; we now have a working COG.
One control now affects the entire
skeleton, the legs and the bend in the spine.
