Independent Life Drawing

This afternoon, I sketched through a catalogue of randomly generated figure references with a 2 minuet time limit for each image. This exercise was good life drawing practice, and also gave me the opportunity to experiment with clothing and props. Some of the images were very imaginative with posing, and I found these difficult to capture. compared to my usual life drawing outcomes, these are therefore more incomplete and stiff. However, this shows I was drawing outside of what is comfortable for me. I tried to be gestural and suggestive with fewer lines as possible.
